DREAM Team Coaches

Our Mission as DREAM Team Coaches

At DREAM Team, our coaches are either current or past players and have a thorough understanding of them game. They are excited to coach these young athletes and watch them excel and grow on and off the field. We support our coaches in becoming certified in our Rapsodo Hitting and Pitching software so they are educated to train in the proper technique!

Our coaching philosophy is develop, develop, develop. Our coaches aim to focus on development of the player (fundamentals, athleticism, and skills) and person (character building & team-focused); our coaches strive to never sacrifice a player's long-term development for short-lived success.

Each practice contains one primary concept to build player development and before the team closes practice the players learn one motivating, character building principle!

DREAM Team believes that the game is to be played the right way and with a focus on dreaming big, working hard, and putting the team first (over self)!

Welcome Coach Danny Stone-1

Danny Stone

Coach & Instructor

Danny, a baseball enthusiast from Arlington, TX, fell in love with the sport at the tender age of 5. His passion for baseball only grew stronger as he progressed to playing select baseball with the prestigious Original Texas Bombers at the age of 12, where he had the opportunity to compete on an international level. Throughout his successful high school career at Arlington Bowie High School, Danny showcased his talent and dedication to the game, which led him to continue his baseball journey at North Lake College and later at Frank Phillips College.

However, Danny's involvement in baseball didn't stop at playing. He made a seamless transition to umpiring and coaching, where he dedicated years to mentoring and guiding young players on their own baseball journeys. He has left a lasting impact on the next generation of baseball enthusiasts, instilling in them the same love and passion for the game that he has carried throughout his own baseball journey.

Allen and Nikki Davis

Allen Davis and his wife Nikki have been working in the area for the past 20 years to share their experience and knowledge with young athletes. Their mission has been to help them develop and advance their abilities to attain higher levels of performance on and off the playing field. Their work with athletes over this time has helped many players reach their goal of becoming collegiate student athletes.

Allen and Nikki both achieved their goal of playing NCAA Division I collegiate ball. While Allen graduated from Red Oak H.S. in 1994, Nikki graduated from Duncanville H.S. the same year. Allen was then drafted in the 44th round by the Chicago Cubs as a left-handed pitcher, however, he chose to attend college first. Allen pitched for 2 years at Dallas Baptist University and then two years at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Nikki went on to sign with The University of Texas Longhorns where she played mid-field for the first Division I women’s soccer team in the school’s history. Allen was then drafted in the 24th round of the June MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers and signed with them for the 1998 season. He then went on to pitch 10 years in professional baseball with the LA Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Fort Worth Cats, and Philadelphia Phillies, and then retired in 2007.

The Davis’ then founded the Davis Skill Center where they began their mission of sharing their experience and knowledge of baseball, training, and many other collegiate and professional aspects to the area. During the past 20 years, they have combined Allen’s professional baseball background and Nikki’s unique athletic training background to provide both baseball and overall sport specific athletic training in all types of settings from one-on-one lessons to camps and clinics. By combining their expertise, they have been able to focus on improving their players’ on field skills as well as creating better athletes all around. They have also run select baseball teams as well as collegiate summer teams and college recruiting services for the youth of the area.
