Coach Jay Moreno

My name is Jair Moreno, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my journey with you. As a father of two incredible children and a devoted husband to a beautiful wife, my passion for baseball has been a constant thread throughout my life.

From the tender age of four, I laced up my cleats and took to the diamond, embarking on a baseball journey that would shape my character and define my path. In addition to my baseball journey from a young age, I also had the privilege of playing varsity high school baseball for four consecutive seasons. Those years were instrumental in my growth as a player, as I faced new challenges and competed at a higher level of the game.

In 2016, I played for the Azteca Mexican League. The experience of being on the diamond at that level not only sharpened my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the intricacies of the game.

In 2017, a new chapter began in my baseball journey, as I transitioned from player to coach. I had the opportunity to share my love for the game and my knowledge with the young, budding athletes of the South East Arlington little league. I started by coaching T-ball, laying the foundation for these young players and instilling in them the fundamentals of the game.

With each passing year, my coaching responsibilities grew. In 2020, I took on the role of coaching Coach Pitch, where I witnessed the players' growth and their passion for the game. 

Now, as we step into the 2023 fall season, I am excited to take on the challenge of coaching a 10U team. My goal is to bring a diverse and mentally structured baseball routine to the players, creating an environment where they can develop both their skills and their love for the game. I firmly believe in fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere, where each player feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential.

Baseball has been an integral part of my life, shaping me as an individual, a player, and a coach. I am grateful for the experiences I have had and the lessons I have learned along the way. I am determined to share my knowledge, passion, and dedication with the next generation of baseball players, guiding them towards success both on and off the field.
