Excellence in Dance and Community Through Team Competition

DREAM Dance Competition Teams represent the highest level of dedication and artistry within our dance conservatory. Our teams combine technical precision with creative expression, preparing dancers for success at regional and national competitions. Each team member receives personalized instruction in a supportive environment that fosters growth, confidence, and lifelong friendships.

What defines our competitive dance teams:

  • Comprehensive training in multiple dance styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, tap, and hip-hop

Meet the DREAM Dance Teams

 

Our competition teams feature dancers ages 4-18 who train in multiple styles including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Tap. Each team is carefully structured to provide age-appropriate choreography and skill development. Our dancers benefit from small teacher-to-student ratios and personalized instruction that builds confidence.

Regional and National Recognition

Celebrating Outstanding Dance Achievements

The energy and momentum from this season is unstoppable—especially after being honored with Encore’s Top Scoring Studio Award and the Studio of Excellence Award at Turn It Up Dance Competition. We are incredibly proud to share that Mrs. Chane was awarded Choreographer of the Show at Encore, and at 8 National, DREAM received the Ultim8 Studio “Live It” Award for being the highest scoring studio of the entire competition. 

During Turn It Up, we received 5 Platinum Pro awards for our solo, duo, and small group dances, along with 2 Platinum Pro awards for our large groups. We also earned the Judges Award, “That’s ART,” for 5 Stages of Grief. Straight Vibin, Wild N Out, and the duet Therapy were nominated for the Industry Dance Awards. Wild N Out also received a Dance Team Invitation and the “Most Entertaining” Award!

At Encore, our solo, duo, and trio performances recieved 4 “Can I Get an Encore!”  adjudications. Our large groups received 5 “Can I Get an Encore!” adjudications. 

At 8 National, every age group placed in the Top 3 for improv winners—taking home 1st place in three age divisions!

Comprehensive Training Approach

Dancers receive instruction in Classical Ballet for foundational strength, Jazz for dynamic movement, Hip-Hop and tap for rhythm and energy, and Tumble and Acro for flexibility and power. This multi-style approach prepares our teams for diverse competition categories and performance opportunities.

Pre-Teen Tap received a High Platinum and 1st in category, the dance team invitation, 1st overall and highest scoring group of the day at Turn It Up!
